Hello Everyone! I am back again, after a few days without saying anything, here I am! This time I want to talk about my project a little bit :) I am creating a NPO (non-profit Organization) and this is the vision:
"Sticky Stuff Vision
Everybody knows that shit happens, so what? Sonja Lyubomirsky, psychology professor at the University of California, Riverside, theorizes that 50 percent of our happiness is determined by genetics and only 10 percent by major life circumstances. That means an impressive 40 percent is generated by our daily thoughts and actions. With numbers like that, it's certainly worth considering the specific behaviours that could lead you down the path to bliss. So, at the end of the day it is our choice.
Sticky Stuff, is a project to create a better feeling in people. Everybody has the choice in their lives to deal with their problems in a positive or negative way. This project will focus on giving positive messages to people, and try to make them think about their lives. Sticky Stuff gives positive feelings for free.
The project will try to get people involved in the project, so they can express their feelings and have a say in the project. This way, it will be a project created by everyone. We hope it will make people see the beauty in everyday life and face the day with a smile even if life has its ups and downs."
There is the logo for the project. I wanted to have a logo that transmites fresh concepts, happiness and obvously lots of emotions. The best way to do it I think is trough colours so that's why I choose a logo ful of colours. Well hope you like this one and I would love to ahve any comment about it! Be good kids! :)
Welcome

I love this projetc, I think is a great idea and I love how they approach the problems. It has a lot of cretivity inside the project and all the characters are really nice looking, they care about the image and that way the message is more powerful. Is important to realize that if you create a good message, you ahve a good campaign, you have to combine it with a good tool of comunications, and that way you'll reach more and more people. The videos in this webpage are crazy , great, amazing! each one has its own subject ad its own way of represent it. I think I choose this project because it has a lot of in common with the projetc I am working on right now. I would love to have the same impact as this guys, but I am not sure if I will get it! hahaha.
I will probably choose the humor tool, to approach my target. Is the most effective way to get the attention I am looking for, and if I could link humor with playground, I will get the most attention I will ever dream of! hahaha so hopefully I can get to do a projetc as good as this one because is important to tell the world, we haven't done all we can do for this world and is not never late! we have to focus on create a better world, and be happy.
Enjoy the website and do the green thing!! here is the link of a video I just love!
I was listening to a conference from TED and there was this guy, Stuart Brown, talking about how important is to Play in our lives. Did you know that we became more intelligent when we play and we are happy? Is incredible how our mood can affect the way we think or solve problems for example. So I thought, this was a good way to start a new campaign fr my project. I think is really important that people remembers how to play and to have fun is for everybody, not only kids can have fun! and not only adults are made to be responsible at all times. Jump, scream, get dirty, laugh loud, run, hide...PLAY, that's all we need to remmeber to be happy. When you play , you feel good, you feel relaxed, and therefore your mind is free and clear. I love to play, and I think sometimes we forgot how to do it!! uhmm that's why today I am going to post a designer who plays and has fun, and does a GREAT JOB! he is Pablo Alfieri, and he has a website called Playfull. I love his typographic works, and how he uses fantasy world to create a great ambient. I wish everbody could have as fun as this guy has doing his job, because what it is important is to have fun! Our lives are too fast sometimes, and we don't stop to look, to feel or to enjoy. This is a short life and we need to enjoy it as much as we can...hope you like his works :)
That is How should start the job of my dreams...
Living above the Great Barrier Reef for six months is a pretty unique benefit, but you’ll also be well-paid – a salary package of AUD$150,000 for a six-month contract. Plus, your accommodation will be provided on Hamilton Island. And there’s plenty of room if you choose to share your experience with a friend or your family.
Selection Criteria
We’re looking for someone with an adventurous attitude, passion for the outdoors and good communication skills. A broad range of experience is considered and Tourism Queensland will be selecting applicants based on:
- Enthusiasm for the role
- Entertainment value (personality and creativity)
- Presentation skills (being media-friendly)
- At least one year's relevant experience
I actually have everything they are looking for...more or less...but I didn't make the video, so I didnt send anything and I didn't get the job...but OH GOSH! how cool would it be, isn't it? I wish I could have a job like that, a job wich your only responsabilitie is to feed the fishes, dive all day and make tons of cool pictures and videos , to promote a real paradise. OK I will stop dreaming!
Anyway, this post isn't about that, is about one of the finalist. He didn't just send a video and wait for a response...he actually create a blog (quite nice) to explain all the experience, feelings that move him to do it, and of course What was happening in each step before being a finalist. I think is quite interesting blog, the guy is a total show man and I think he should be the finalist and get the job...I don't care anymore hahaha. This makes me think of how if you follow your dreams you can actually reach them! so as an example in real life, let's keep this guy in mind and follow our dreams, younever know where you could end up and this is the sauce of live!
enjoy!http://jamesonhamo.com/

I deft. think a picture is thousand words worth...and he knows it too! He combines my two favorite things, typography and pictures :) I am in love! hahaha even if he is from the UK he had worked at some point for any Australia studios, and I am looking foraward to see his work in the streets!
I personally love the treatmen of the projetc "Don't die for a broken heart" so true, deep and intense work.
One thing I like about this designer, is that he is not afraid of showing the "making of" of his work, he is quite transparent and is a quality to admire. Most selfish designers refuse to show the techniques, even if its an obvious one!
Hope you like it as much as I do!
This is the first time I create a blog. I am not sure why I did it but I think someway I just felt like I need it. I will write about what I like and what I don't like, some projects and stuff like that. Hope you enjoy it and please leave a comment if you feel like it!!
Cheers!
For the moment, just this http://www.joshuadavis.com/ one of my favorites!!
